Terms of Service

By accessing or using OrganicCopy, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this service.

These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use OrganicCopy, whether through our website, API, or any other means.

OrganicCopy is an AI text humanization service that rewrites AI-generated content to sound more naturally human and reduce detectability by AI detection tools. The service includes:

• Detection Analysis: 16-category analysis based on Wikipedia's "Signs of AI Writing" guide to identify AI-like patterns in text
• Text Humanization: Three humanization modes (Basic, Standard, Advanced) that rewrite text to eliminate AI patterns
• API Access: Programmatic access for integrating humanization into your own applications

OrganicCopy is offered as a freemium service with rate limits on the free tier and subscription plans for higher usage.

To use certain features of OrganicCopy, you must register an account. When you register, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate and current
• Be responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access

You must be at least 13 years old to use OrganicCopy. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

You agree not to use OrganicCopy for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates these terms. Specifically, you may not:

• Academic Fraud: Submit humanized text as original work when explicitly prohibited by your institution. OrganicCopy is a writing tool, but you are responsible for complying with your institution's academic integrity policies.
• Harmful Content: Use the service to generate or humanize content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, or promotes violence.
• Security Circumvention: Attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication systems, or other security measures protecting the service.
• Automated Abuse: Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the service outside of our official API or in violation of API rate limits.
• Reverse Engineering: Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or discover the source code of our detection or humanization algorithms.

Important Clarification: OrganicCopy is a tool that transforms text. While we provide this service, you are solely responsible for how you use the output. We do not condone academic dishonesty or misrepresentation of authorship.

Your Content: You retain full ownership of any text you input into OrganicCopy and any text output you receive from the service. We do not claim any rights to your content.

Our Platform: OrganicCopy retains all rights, title, and interest in:

• The OrganicCopy platform, website, and user interface design
• Our detection algorithms, humanization models, and proprietary technology
• The OrganicCopy name, logo, and other branding elements
• All documentation, APIs, and related materials

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of our platform or technology without explicit written permission.

OrganicCopy offers both free and paid subscription tiers. Payment terms include:

• Subscription Billing: Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through our payment provider, Stripe. All payments are in USD.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refund Policy: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. If you're not satisfied within 14 days of your first subscription payment, contact support@organiccopy.ai for a full refund.
• Price Changes: We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

If you use the OrganicCopy API, additional terms apply:

• Rate Limits: API usage is subject to rate limits based on your subscription tier. Exceeding rate limits may result in temporary throttling or service suspension.
• API Keys: Your API keys are confidential. You are responsible for keeping them secure. If your API key is compromised, notify us immediately.
• Abuse Prevention: We may revoke API access if we detect abuse, including but not limited to: exceeding rate limits, using the API for prohibited purposes, or attempting to circumvent security measures.
• API Changes: We may update, modify, or discontinue API endpoints with reasonable notice (typically 90 days for breaking changes).

OrganicCopy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantees about the service's reliability, availability, or suitability for your specific needs. Specifically:

• No Guarantee of Undetectability: While OrganicCopy is designed to reduce AI detection, we do not guarantee that humanized text will always pass all AI detectors. Detection technology evolves, and results may vary.
• User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for how you use OrganicCopy and the consequences of using humanized text. We are not liable for academic penalties, legal issues, or other outcomes resulting from your use of the service.
• Indirect Damages: We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of OrganicCopy.
• Liability Cap: Our total liability to you for any claims related to OrganicCopy shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time for any reason:

• Your Termination: You can delete your account at any time by contacting support@organiccopy.ai or through your account settings. Upon termination, you will lose access to your account and any saved data.
• Our Termination: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or for any other reason at our discretion. We will provide notice when possible, but may terminate immediately in cases of severe violations.
• Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use OrganicCopy ceases immediately. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law provisions).

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of OrganicCopy will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via:

• Email notification to your registered email address
• Prominent notice on the OrganicCopy website or dashboard

Your continued use of OrganicCopy after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you should discontinue use of the service and delete your account.
